I will tell you guys one thing about the new Wild Nothing album coming out 28 August 2012 via Captured Tracks, it is phenomenal. A beautiful mesh between Gemini, the Nowhere/Wait 7” and the summer of 2012. Perfect|Midnight|World has this to say:
Jack Tatum’s Wild Nothing project next full length finally has a release date (August 28) and a name (Nocturne) and a first that (this song, “Shadow”), and sure enough it’s now got my attention. “Shadow” doesn’t seem to stray too far from the lush, dream pop sounds of the excellent “Gemini”, but it does seem to have traded a little of the ethereal, Cocteau Twins-esque soundscapes for something a little more jangly and loose (think late 80’s The Cure, and Beach Fossils), but aside from that - we’re still in that gorgeous invitingly dreamy pop sound that Jack Tatum does so well.
