This is the third release from the Shoegaze Archives (SA-3) from Captured Tracks (CT-132). This is the third of my design and layout of SA and you can go buy it from CT on limited clear vinyl with metallic type. Here’s a wonderful little review from the always awesome Perfect|Midnight|World:
The Captured Tracks Shoegaze Archive just keeps trucking along with more wonderful music left behind by time. This track by Medicine might be the most well known of the re-issues thus far - due to it’s appearance (and live performance) in Alex Proyas’s 1994 adaptation of “The Crow” - but tracking down this particular version is rather difficult. The Crow soundtrack featured “Time Baby III” which is a slightly re-worked version featuring backing vocals by Elisabeth Fraser of Cocteau Twins. So, Captured Tracks have tracked down the master alongside the b-side, “Miss Drugstore” and re-issued them as part of their Shoegaze Archive series. A must have.
